An eccentric band led by an eccentric frontman, Mr. Lordi, the group was formed in 1996. Mr. Lordi loved monsters and pyrotechnics at the shows he went to, and he planned on his band having plenty of both. They dressed as monsters during their elaborate concerts, they released a hit single called “Would You Love a Monsterman?” and their second album was called The Monsterican Dream.
